Care amiche, anche questa volta i miei amici gnomi 

hanno voluto essere protagonisti del Natale, 

come ogni gnomo che si rispetti naturalmente...

...quest'anno un Natale particolarmente nevoso, 

tanto è vero che la piccola gnometta ha avuto un'idea veramente romantica..

...il suo regalo sarà una coppia di pupazzi di neve che rappresentino

 lei e il suo innamorato...

e dopo aver fatto spalare al povero gnometto un bel po' di neve

 ha decorato con cura il suo "lui" e la sua "lei"

perchè un Natale che si rispetti deve avere

 i suoi pupazzi di neve..

e se non è amore questo...

 elle et son amant ...

et après avoir pelleté le pauvre gnome beaucoup de neige

 il a soigneusement décoré son "il" et son "elle"

parce qu'un Noël qui se respecte doit avoir

 ses bonhommes de neige ..

et si ce n'est pas aimer ça ...

"Christmas on the Beach"

Era tanto tempo che avevo in mente 

un Natale un po' alternativo da ricamare a punto croce..

..in genere siamo abituati ad un Natale con tanta neve, 

tra abeti e cime innevate..

...o con le luci sfavillanti della città tra un susseguirsi 

di negozi e decorazioni natalizie..

ma quest'anno ho voluto ambientare il mio Natale al mare...

..proprio sulla spiaggia..perchè sono convinta che Babbo Natale passerà anche da lì...

..e i nostri protagonisti son prontissimi ad accoglierlo...

i regali sono preparati sotto un ombrellone da mare,

 anzichè sotto un abete, le onde altissime si infrangono contro il faro illuminato,

 che però non ha paura...

decorato di tutto punto e con tanto di sciarpa di lana... 

e sulla spiaggia riposa una vecchia barca dove hanno trovato  

riparo una bambina vestita da Babbo Natale

 e un magnifico pupazzo di neve "vecchio lupo di mare"...

..e sono sicura che anche per loro sarà un magnifico Natale!

It was a long time I had in mind

a slightly alternative Christmas to cross-stitch ..

.. we are usually used to Christmas with lots of snow,

between fir trees and snowy peaks ..

... or with the sparkling lights of the city in a succession

of shops and Christmas decorations ..

but this year I wanted to set my Christmas to the sea ...

..just on the beach .. because I am convinced 

that Santa Claus will also pass from there ...

..and our protagonists are very ready to welcome it ...

gifts are prepared under a beach umbrella,

 instead of under a fir tree, 

the very high waves break against the illuminated lighthouse,

 but he is not afraid ...

fully decorated and complete with a wool scarf ...

and on the beach an old boat rests where they found

shelter a little girl dressed as Santa Claus

 and a magnificent snowman "old sea dog" ...

..and I'm sure it will be a wonderful Christmas for them too!

Cela faisait longtemps que j'avais en tête

un Noël légèrement alternatif au point de croix ..

.. nous sommes généralement habitués à Noël avec beaucoup de neige,

entre sapins et sommets enneigés ..

... ou avec les lumières scintillantes de la ville successivement

des magasins et des décorations de Noël ..

mais cette année, je voulais mettre mon Noël à la mer ...

..proprio sur la plage .. parce que je suis convaincu

 que le Père Noël passera aussi de là ...

..et nos protagonistes sont prêts à l'accueillir ...

les cadeaux sont préparés sous un parasol,

 au lieu de sous un sapin,

 les très hautes vagues se brisent contre le phare illuminé,

 mais il n'a pas peur ...

entièrement décoré et complet avec un foulard en laine ...

et sur la plage un vieux bateau repose où ils ont trouvé

abriter une petite fille habillée en père noël

 et un magnifique bonhomme de neige "vieux chien de mer" ...

..et je suis sûr que ce sera un merveilleux Noël pour eux aussi!
